Medical Oxygen

This is the variety of oxygen with high purity that is used in hospitals and healthcare centres. The medical-grade oxygen is used as a life support gas. Isolating the oxygen from the remaining gases in the atmosphere using an air separation unit and removing the moisture and impurities from the oxygen is what elevates regular oxygen .

Hydrogen

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas. It is easily ignited. Once ignited it burns with a pale blue, almost invisible flame. The vapors are lighter than air. It is flammable over a wide range of vapor/air concentrations. Hydrogen is not toxic but is a simple asphyxiate by the displacement of oxygen in the air.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide (dinitrogen oxide or dinitrogen monoxide), commonly known as laughing gas, nitrous, nitro, or nos is a chemical compound, an oxide of nitrogen with the formula N20 . At room temperature , it is a colourless non-flammable gas , and has a slightly sweet scent and taste. Nitrous oxide has significant medical uses.

Helium

This gas is better known as the balloon gas used for inflating balloons. Helium gas is available in a range of purities for other applications like purging, welding and electronics manufacturing. The gas is also used in pharma production, scientific research, healthcare equipment manufacturing, scuba diving, blimp inflation.

Nitrogen

Nitrogen gas is the most abundant gas available in the earth’s atmosphere. It is usually supplied in a range of purities to suit a wide spectrum of applications. Nitrogen finds use mainly in blanketing, purging and chemical analysis. Nitrogen is widely used in industries like food packaging, beverages, energy, etc.

Industrial Oxygen

Oxygen is supplied in the liquid form. Industrial grade oxygen comes in various levels of purity broadly categorized as regular purity and high purity oxygen depending on the applications they have in the various industries. This grade of oxygen is mainly used in industries for cutting, brazing and soldering .

Acetylene

This Acetylene sometimes also referred as DA Gas, is a hydrocarbon. It is basically colourless fuel gas and used extensively in industries for metal cutting and brazing applications. Acetylene produces highest known flame temperature when mixed with Oxygen. Commercially it is produced by reaction of Calcium Carbide with water.

Carbon Dioxide

Carbon dioxide (Co2) is supplied compressed in a cylinder or as a liquid. It is available in various volumes. CO2 is soluble in water and dissolves to form a carbonic acid. Carbonic acid is what gives the fizz to soft drinks. It is also used to create artificial snow in the entertainment industry. It is widely used in greenhouse farming.

Argon

Argon is an inert gas and hence ideal for processes that use nonreactive atmosphere. The gas finds use in processes like inerting, blanketing and as a shielding gas in welding. Argon 39 is used primarily in ice-coring andwater dating. Argon is used in inflating scuba diving suites due to its nonreactive, heat isolating properties.
